CONTEST FOR CONTEMPORARY BULGARIAN WRITERS 2012

The contest is for publication of contemporary Bulgarian novel in English language.

Eligibility
All candidates should have at least one novel, published in Bulgaria.
Each writer can apply with one translated excerpt from a novel.
In order to apply, please send:
• Minimum 25, maximum 50 pages from your novel (Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1,5 space);
• Biography (maximum 300 words);
• Synopsis (maximum 1500 words);
All materials should be in English language.

The results will be announced by the end of November 2012.
The approved translation will be published in the United States by Open Letter Books in 2013.
The review panel will consist of international publishers.
